Questions sellers ask
Why does the position change between checks?
Otto reshuffles results and rotates ad slots on almost every page load, and personalises by session. A position can move by a few places between two checks minutes apart. Track the trend over weeks rather than a single number.
Does my computer need to be on for the weekly check?
Yes. Checks run inside your own browser, so the computer running MarktRank needs to be awake with the browser open at the scheduled time. If it isn't, the check runs the next time the browser starts.
Is MarktRank connected to Otto?
No. MarktRank is an independent tool made by EcommTech Agency Ltd and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Otto GmbH. It reads the public search results the same way a shopper's browser does.
What if Otto shows a verification check?
MarktRank stops and tells you which page it reached. Solve the check in the tab and run again. Because it runs in your normal browser, this is rare.
What data do you store?
Your account details, your subscription status and your daily usage count. The products, keywords and ranks you check are stored in your own Google Sheet and your browser, not on our servers.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from your account page at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
